Windes is an industry-leading local accounting firm that has grown in size and scope of services during its 95 years. Priding itself on a close-knit community of advisors and a focus on integrating leading technologies in its services, it serves a wide variety of businesses across southern California.
The Opportunity
Windes approached us with the hopes of creating a short commercial for social media. Through our many discussions during pre-production, the project evolved into a full-length brand video that could be utilized both for marketing direct to businesses as well as recruiting new accountants for their expanding team.
The Solution
Windes is a firm with a long history, a focus on future technology for their clientele, and yet a friendly & nurturing culture that has led to many individuals working there for decades. It was important to capture both the nitty-gritty details of what they do so the video would be informative but also capture the unique culture that sets them apart.
The Execution
A great deal of our time in pre-production was spent researching the firm and having long discussions with them. All of this work upfront to craft questions for the various interviews we conducted and the scripted scenes we filmed made post-production a breeze. All of that due diligence allowed us to craft the story in the edit in a matter of days, not weeks — which resulted in delivering the video ahead of schedule.
The Results
This video is the first thing people see when they visit Windes’ website. As of this case study, the video has been live for around 8 months and has been watched for over 51 hours. Its play rate is 27%, meaning over a quarter of people who visit their site took the time to watch the video instead of reading the variety of written material throughout.
